Pat’s Visitation
Something that sealed Pat in his new way of thinking came in the form of a powerful vision or dream that he had on October 26th, 1984. On Thursday, the day before Pat received this vision, Bob Jones got a vision from the Lord and came to the evening prayer meeting. Bob told Mike, “That a young man was going to receive a visitation from the Lord that was going to lift him three feet into the air with joy and that Mike would lay hold of this vision and not let go of it. “How will I know it is the one? “When this young man comes to you, will know that it is Him?”
That night Augustine tried to call Mike because the Lord had told him that He was going to visit Pat. Mike refused to take Augustine’s call at the time because he was tired and didn't know what Augustine wanted to talk about. That next morning at 4 a.m. while Pat was awake, Pat suddenly had a dream or vision in which he tried to plug a T.V. cord that was really old and twisted into several different outlets. He was in a large warehouse but none of the outlets worked. Then Pat heard the voice of the Lord say, “Pat try it here.” He plugged it in and the TV came on. He started watching the T.V. with a small group of others who were all on their knees (a picture of humility). At this point, Pat heard a drum roll and then saw a faceless man came up to him and hand him a note that said, “MR. PAT. I have arrived, signed I.” A feeling of utter terror came over Pat that caused him to scream and wake up his wife. Then he fainted. Pat was freaked out and Cheryl was too, because this was the first time Pat had experienced the terror of the Lord—it was overwhelming. Later that morning Pat called Mike and told him about the experience. Mike was really moved by the testimony and was certain that something very powerful had happened to Pat. 20 minutes later, Mike realized it was Pat who Bob Jones had referred to the previous day. Pat was absolutely overwhelmed by this experience and tried to communicate it to his brother. He stated that we really don’t understand how deadly serious things are going to be when real revival begins. Pat moaned, “I don’t even know if we really want this?” This was because of the fear of the Lord was upon him in such an intense way.
Mike called Bob Jones, then immediately after Mike had got on the phone with Bob, then” Noel came in and told Mike that he had a long-distance call from Augustine. As Mike got on the phone with Augustine, Augustine said, “Brother, a very serious thing is about to happen, and we must pray.”
Mike replied, “What is it?”
I went to the third Heavens. God took me out of my body, and he showed me your brother and that he is going to bring deliverance to your brother. And he told me that he would visit him in a vision immediately and speak to him face to face about his deliverance. Mike asked if there was anything else. He replied that there would be a time in which God would deal with Pat for a season in the realm of faith, but that they must call Pat and encourage him to pray. Then Mike told Augustine that this had already happened 8 hours before. This call with Augustine amazed Mike because of the timing of the call and it caused him to totally believe that the Lord was seriously dealing with his brother. A few days later, Mike proclaimed that a key signpost of the move of God would be Pat’s healing and that it would be sign post and that would be delivered before the city. Then Mike prayed a prayer that really gripped me that God, “would shut the mouths of those who mock God.” ,
Mike later described how that in the Book of Acts chapters 3 and 4, the Lord used the healing of a paralytic man as a sign to the people of Jerusalem, which then brought 5000 immediately into His kingdom. He declared that God was going to sovereignly heal and raise Pat up as a sign to the people of Kansas City. At that time, Mike believed and powerfully testified that God had an amazing purpose and plan concerning his brother and that Pat’s mission was at the center of what God what the Lord was doing within SKCF.
